Ok ok ok stock ecu can handle power i see lol...

I want the ecu to do boost by gear, anti lag, 2 step, the option of going throttle cable, and tuning on the go...

I want to be able to plug in and watch and fix live rather then This (live link) bullshit...

What mods do you have?

You dont need a Stand alone for Boost by gear , or 2 step , there are other things you can do for that .

Although Im considering going to a stand alone for the reason of just being able to tune myself and have more control , bigger injectors, Im able to turn on the third pump thru the computer instead of a hobb switch , also shift the 4r70w rather then using the Baumannator.

My set up works just fine , but it would be much better with a BS3.

Im sure if I push the boost up and spray the car I should be able to run in the low 9s with the stock computer , but there is definately more control with the BS3

Really?? Tell that to these guys cause there running stock computer
There about at 950+ at the rear

This was at about 980 rwhp and now is at about 1100 rwhp

I never said that running a stand alone will allow you to make more power. Although, once you get a certain level, the control of the stand alone is worth it over saving money with the stock ECU. When you have a motor thats worth upwards of $20,000 a stand alone setup goes a long way for piece of mind. .

BS3 is the only standalone that will work worth a shit on the 3V...period.

FAST is not compatible, and even the BS3 is not right 'out of the box' and takes some tweaking... quite a bit actually.

Talk to anyone who has broken a 1000 hp on a 3V (Vinny, Justin, etc.) and they will all tell you the stock computer has to go at that level.

The BS3 is awesome and makes tuning a breeze but there are quite a few obstacles that need to be overcome and a couple of them are not so simple.

First of all, the BS3 needs a solid 14-16V to operate so you can forget about your 12V battery set-up. Once you do that, you have to figure out if you want to charge your car every time you run it or figure out a way to get a 16V alternator to work right on the 3V which is no easy task - let me tell you. I ended up ditching my alt set-up completely in the end.

Second, there is a little issue with the tooth position on the cam gears of the 3V which you will become extremely knowledgeable with if you decide to try to go with a standalone.

I'm not trying to 'scare' anyone away from a standalone, but just inform you that it is a pretty major deal and not simple to transition to by any means. That's why you can count on one hand how many 3V's have a standalone in the whole country...

But, if you are going for a 'monster car' - it is a must have.

Your exactly right, But i will say i have several street cars running around with BS3 (not 3v's) and i have not seen any issue at all with 12v systems. What problems have you ran into?

The BS3 will work fine in a street car, it just takes a lot of time to get it wired up properly while still trying to keep all your factory stuff. Such as factory gauges and things like that. If your interested in what it takes to make it work PM me anytime and i can give you idea of what all your going to need.

OP, Pm me if your interested in some pricing for the BS3.

The eboost2 can do boost group by gear, there are some vids of it on yout tube. Even using the basic settings of adjusting gate pressure and sensitivity i was able to bring boost on sooner and add torque down low.

I didnt even get into the advanced settings yet.

Yeah.........saw that one too. Still doesn't answer many questions. Actually.....it doesn't answer a single frickin' question about the system or the installation.

Golly. That's just amazing, Brett. Downright fascinating. As if I didn't know what the fuckin' thing was in the first place. Think you can conjure up an installation how-to for a 3V Ford now? Since that was the info I was asking our mysterious poster about anyway.
