If I just activate the transbrake and push the petal down the car will build about 2psi only. I have to get that turbo going on the transbrake for it to spool. It takes a while to get into boost. By the time I would normally launch on the 3rd yellow light it will only be at 1 - 2psi. I have to sit there for a while to get it higher. When I bracket race, I leave at 2700 and 60' in the 1.8s. I am thinking of adding some nitromethane mix in the meth kit. It should get me more torque down low and get that turbo spooled up faster. I did some research on the Nitrometh and adds some nice power. Snow has it already to go into the water meth mixture and they picked up 30-50whp just from nitrobooster alone. We will see.

Or you can install a small dry shot of nitrous on a MSD digital window switch to activate at 2800 and turn off at 3200 put your 2 step at 3400 and leave the line with boost up already.

Talk to your tuner about reducing the amount of timing the tune pulls based on AIT. E85 keeps things so cool that I have been able to all raise my threshhold up quite a bit with ZERO ill effects. And for what its worth. My car only makes about 550rwhp with 10* of timing and over 700rwhp with the full 23* in it. That is why my car would only trap 120 my first trip out because the tune pulled 13* at only like 120 because we forgot to change it. I set it to pull 4* and it trapped 129 and haven't made a full run with 0* pulled so far. I'm expecting mid 130's next time out. Keep in mind I'm a shitty driver too!

Just got back from Willie's house helped him with a transmission on a HummV, We then took a look at my tunes and He made the changes . We forgot to take out the reduction in timing due it IAT. It was set to pull timing from 120 to 160, so we now have it set at zero until 200* .
Next time out it should see 22* to 23* thru the end of the pass.

I'm going to guess 143+ trap speed next time out.

That would be nice but the track said next time I go if I dont have a cage and run in the 9s I will have to leave. So I think Im going to do some testing 1st at the 1/8th mile and get it dialed in as far as the shift points from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd make sure it shifts around 6000 rpms , and then go back for one pass. I think it should run like 141 at 23 psi's and like 145 at 25 psi's .

You could trip the beam to get the clock going and then run all out.

12.30 @ 140 MPH, then again they might not give me the slip thinking its a Supra . :LMAO:

congrats - lookin good pete!:hi:

Thank You Mark, just taking Baby Steps figuring what works best . Every time I go out the car goes quicker , so I must be doing something right. Once I get it to run 9.60s Ill spray it with the 75 shot.
I wish I knew what the record is for Stock Heads and Cam on a full interior car , I must be getting close.
