I pulled the head and did not find anything interesting, of course I have no idea what to look for...

I did notice that the Pistons and head were coated with carbon / oil mix only after 500 miles? strange

It matches up visual wise with this one so I think the gaskets are correct

Another thing that I noticed, the Stock gaskets are 3 peice the Felpros are 4 peice?

You've already tried everything I could think of. This time when you put the heads back on, have someone thats good with cars come check your work before you put the timing covers back on. Sometimes I just get tired and make really dumb mistakes.

I will this time, I was wondering somthing, in the ford service manual is says to use ZC-31, Motorcraft Surface Metal Prep, does anyone know if this is required?

Also the manual says to torque the head bolts to 30 ft lbs (all 10), then 90 deg (all 10)
then come back and 90 Deg again.
Some one said I should do the 30 ft lbs as a pre crunch back off then do 30 ft lbs again, any tips on this subject?

It's still running HOT, 240 -250 (With AC) New Water Pump, 2007 Crossover with new tstat and hoses, and I replaced the CHT Sensor today and I get the same readings, same temps, so It looks like the heads I have are bad, I have replaced EVERYTHING ELSE, and since it did not do this before the heads, it must be the heads. and since I do not have the Money to replace them or the engine at this time, I will just drive it till it blows up and save cash till then. Or if my financial position changes or the economy gets better then I may get it sooner, but for now it is what it is.

man I wish I had some advice, not really sure what exactly could be bad about the heads unless they are plugged, were you able to confirm 100% that all sensors and computer shit is working ACCURATELY?

its probably running too hot.
i think that was indicated at the post title?

i wouldn't turn that (head) bolt backwards after i start tightening it.. not on a TTY one time use bolt imho.

i didn't wanna say it when we chatted last about it but i suspected a bad head.. how could both be bad at once? weren't these new heads to begin with? who's heads? you just took that head back off since i talked to you? are you using the same TTY headbolt again when you put the head back on? (sorry)

Were the heads ever inspected? All is it takes is a small crack in a cooling passage or a slightly off mating surface to cause the overheating problem you described. I would almost take it for an ink dye test to see where the weeping is coming from. Are you losing coolant noticeably so? I know these cars can also be hell for eliminating bubbles in the coolant system.

All Senors have been replaced and are working
I sent the heads out and had them cleaned and surfaced before install.

These heads were from Marcspaz (2007 GT) He sold them to Boss281, and Boss281 gave them to me to try to figure out my cars launch issue, we found a Bent Valve, I was already in the process of cleaning the 07 heads and decided to install them. I purchased the FRPP Head Swap Kit that comes with TTY and Gaskets the second time.

They were inspected before I had them surfaced and cleaned, but no ink test, Marcspaz never had a problem with these heads, he swapped for Livernois heads. Also No coolent leaking that I notice. it drops a bit due to pressure pushing it out the cap (white crust running down the tank)

I had a shop do a cooling system Pressure test today and the results were, well not Good. It is a crack in the head, leaks into the Passanger side Exhaust Manifold. the crack opens up when the head gets hot.
He said I should have done an Die test on the head before install. Oh well.
That settles it, it's time for a decission. He's not sure how long it will last but I need new heads, I have no money for it right now and I really do not want to go through the head swap again.

So I will be saving up for a motor seems to be my best bet, but with the economy as it is it will not be for a while, Such a shame, there are some great deals on the classified section here...

Sorry to hear that brother, I had the same problem but on a different car. Did not show up on a pressure test but the car ran hot, so I did a hot ink die test one day and found a slight head gasket leak caused by a very slightly off head surface. The car ran fine albeit a bit hot in extremes for 3 years that way.

Scott - you can replace just the single head?

I thought you had a second set of heads around (?)

I could but I owe the heads to someone, I swaped with him to get my car up and running quicker, that did not happen. I can't go back on that deal, I am sure he did not know these heads were bad when he gave them to me.
