Late model restoration is great. Got my lowering springs, panhard bar, and camber bolts there. Great customer service!

So the FRPP K springs are ok even though the 5.0 is a lot heavier? (Might lower the front more than a 05-10?)

Can I reuse the stock struts and shocks and panhard bar? I know the ride quality will suffer a little bit with stock parts.

you need to replace the panhard bar. After I lowered mine, the rear looked like it was centered but it was not. Keep in mind, to do the job right, it will cost you a minimum of $400. You need springs, panhard bar, camber bolts, and an alignment. Do it right the first time or it will cost you twice as much later on

Your camber will be off even with a 1.5". The cost of correcting the camber will outweigh buying new tires after you wear out the inner tread

With the 1" "P" springs my camber came in at -1.1. Spec is -.75 +/- .50 so well within spec and actually not a bad aggressive street spec. Lowering did Toe the car out though, so that will need to be addressed. As mentioned, I needed an adjustable Panhard bar as well to get the rear centered..

Personally, I lowered the car with a ProKit and had a custom alignment done. I'm at -1.4 camber both sides, 0 toe and I think about +6 caster (can't remember the caster). I have the printout in my glove. If I want more negative camber, I have to get either camber bolts or caster/camber plates, but for the street, its aggressive enough. Centering the rear is important and can be addressed at some time, but its not essential IMHO especially if its only off by a small amount.

On that setup, I've had even tire wear including an all day track event at Willow Springs.

I plan to lower my car about an 1" but would like to understand whether lowering the car from it's stock height will negatively impact anything they've done to make the car handle so well with that solid rear axle? Can anyone shed some light on this?

It will handle better. Stiffer springs will reduce body roll while going through turns
