WOW, I did not realize that Long Tube Header would make such a difference.
My best time before Long tubes in November 2007 with same temps 55-65 deg light wind sunny day 12.83 @ 106.66

got to the track around 9:30a and went thought Tech, swapped the tires to my Stock Rims with the BFG DR. and got in line. by 10:39 I ran a 12.681 @ 107 I was very happy with that but wanted to try for a bit more, so a friend pulled my passanger seat out, all I wanted was 12.5 and I got back
in line, 11:55 I hit 12.511 @ 109.36
I was smiling from ear to ear now.. I was ready to go home happy. Rygen said with that trap speed I should see 12.4's so I figure WTF, Go for it.... 1:49p Perfect launch, it just felt right...
60' - 1.845
330 - 5.158
1/8 - 7.936
MPH - 87.91
1000 - 10.357
1/4 - 12.415
MPH - 109.35

Over 4 tenths with LT Headers WOW:clap:

I am Car 5197 ( It was S197 )

I saw your run and was sitting next to Rygen when you did that. He said "he's going to shit!".

Excellent job!

5-speed or auto? Your mods are similar to mine, although I have a few chassis lightening items and cams. Next time we're out I think I'll have YOU drive my car! You were on today!

Left at 2:30 as I had promised my son I'd help him pull his 302, then get the new block mounted on the engine stand so he can start rebuilding tomorrow. I really wanted to stay for dinner with everyone but I not only had the need for speed but the need to get my hands dirty. Next time bro's...

Your going to laugh, I bought my 275/40 17 Drag Radials off of craigs List last year for 30 bucks they were well used, but I thought I could get a few good runs out of them, that was 70 runs ago. LOL ...

They are mounted on stock GT Rims

Kick Ass Job Bro!!! Wish I could have been there...
I wish you were too, My son could not make it because of a Job Interview, he usually video tapes my runs. So I have no Video evidence...

To me, the sound is old school muscle. I can't wait to get my dyno tune in a few weeks before the Superstallions meet at Cecil on April 12. I'm curious what those JBA longtubes added...

Wow--that is impressive with your mods and with an auto with the stock converter. Good mph to for n/a. A good converter and some aftermarket heads and you will be knocking on 11's door.

Long tubes made a big difference on my car to--went from 7.60's to 7.40's in the 1/8th mile last year--I am sure it would have been at least 3 tenths for the 1/4. I think people get caught up with the peak numbers on the dyno, yet ignore the fact that the headers could be worth 15-20 hp through out the entire rpm range---which shows up in the et.
