I've got a pile of parts sitting in the garage now for my 2011 but I decided to run the car out to Baytown last night to see how it did stock first. Car is a full weight (spare tire and all) auto that is 100% stock except for 20" wheels with BFG KDWs. Best time was a 12.6 @ 110. If it hadn't been shifting into 5th right before the line I think it would have even done a little better.
Not bad considering my '06 with full bolt-ons ran a 12.4 on the same tires.

3.15 gears are stock for an automatic. 12.60's is ballpark for them. Seen three others do the same thing. Good luck with the mods to the car.

Thanks. The new suspension, truetrac, and 4.10s should be on as soon as I can get a rack clear. Starting to wonder about the 4.10s, 28" tire, and that 5th gear though. As soon as the cams get squared away we need to talk about some heads.

Good God. That is freaking awesome for a stock car....look at the LS1 WS6s....back in the day they sold for around 30k give or take and the stick cars were doing what 13.3s normal with a few oddballs running faster, and it was all we could do to keep up with our 2vs at the time.....Look who is laughing now chevy mwahahahaha

Congrats man; I was thinking about going but decided to take the girl out instead due to it drizzling out my way. My friend was there in his corvette and made a few 11.1 and 11.2 passes and said towards the end he was hotlapping without ANY wait. That's crazy,

I plan on getting out there this Friday or next and going for 11.60s

Yeah, I was hot lapping it all night. It was a good night to run but a hard night to pace yourself. I think that was my 4th or 5th run in a row.

Awesome runs man! I plan on ordering tires today and maybe hitting up the Baytown track friday or sunday. Just trying to decide what is the best tires for my application.

With an Auto, it should be in 4th gear with the OEM tune.

My tuned car does it in 3rd.

If you are going to Baytown it will have to be on Friday night as they aren't open on Sunday. Hopefully at some point they will realize Friday night sucks for many people and will start running on Sunday again.

Yeah Sunday racing is nice (especially once Football season is over).

I MIGHT be out there this Friday with my friend in a supercharged corvette. If I can get the driveshaft installed I hope to run a 11.6-11.8 ;)
