Product: RaceGlaze Deep Pile Natural Sheepskin Washmitt
Product Description from Autowerkes:Our soft-to-the-touch Sheepskin Wash Mitt will pamper your car's finish. The long, natural fibers hold more soapy water and allow loosened grit to migrate away from the surface being washed. This reduces washing swirl marks. Used dry, natural sheepskin is a great dust mitt. Wipe away dust on the dash and console and use it around the home on shelves, stereo equipment and computer screens. Please note: Rinse out after use with cold water and allow to air dry out of direct sunlight. Do not machine wash or machine dry. Natural sheepskin mitts will not last as long as synthetic mitts but are much gentler to the paint's finish. Made from the finest deep pile Australian sheepskin, this is the Rolls Royce of mitts, a totally natural product which will last for years. Its luxurious soft, deep pile makes washing and polishing a pleasure. Smells and feels beautiful. An exclusive product. Colours vary
Kens note - I have been using these mitts from RaceGlaze for over 9 months now
and have to say I am very impressed. At my detailing shop, these mitts will see a years worth of carwashes in a month. The mitts I use daily still look brand new. The nice thing is that they don't fall apart after a few months like most sheepskin mitts. Very highly recommended.

Product Review:
It took a while to get my RaceGlaze mitts from Autowerkes because they were out of stock at the time. RaceGlaze took quite some time to get them to Autowerkes.
Once, I opened the packaging and held the mitt in my hand I knew I was in for a treat! The mitt is super plush and soft. The 'fibers' are very, very thick. It swallows your hand if you push your hand into the mitt.
I recommend you placing the mitt in a bucket full of water prior to use. Possibly add a couple drops of your car wash soap. The dye does run. I don't think the dye will do anything to your finish but I'd still recommend it. In my case the mitt turned the bucket quite Red. In fact the dye still came out of the mitt for a couple washes. Nothing like the initial "pre-rinse" of the dye though.
The mitt absorbs a ton of soap and water. As soon as the mitt hit the surface of the paint it put a smile on my face. It was almost like it added a whole other level of lubricity to the soap. The mitt cleans the surface perfectly. I don't really use any pressure with it, just the weight of the mitt and all of the soap and water it contains.
After using it for a handful or two of times I'm still completely happy with it. It's still as good as when it was brand new if not better as it's breaking in.
I was previously using SM Arnold Sheeps Wool mitts and I recommended them always. They are a great mitt however the RaceGlaze mitt is leaps and bounds better. I agree it's pricey but it's definitely worth it. If it lasts as long as they claim than it will be more than worth the money spent on it.
