So I found the water drains ran a wire through them they were not clogged. Im still having hard time seeing and or finding the water diverters inside the rear quarter as shown in repair manual.
I like to fix it myself. I would never take to a shop. Im a certified marine diesel engine technician, and like to work on my own cars. A convertible is totally out of my league but if I can find where water is coming from I can replace part.
I'm not sure if top has the interior piece on it still. Do you have image of what it looks like.
Today I'm going try and flush the water drains on each quarter panel, the top is actually really good condition. No sag, no tares, when closed its tight.

i have seen before a some brand new wings come with a piece paper you put down on the trunk and you drill the holes which are marked on it, but we dont have that.
i dont see how a 3/8in tube will cause engine to loose power, or obstruct flow. maybe a few CFM but not much. you get more obstruction from intake itself, etc etc
