That price is crazy. As for them asking high prices for there cars I have to disagree. I bought a 2014 GT in May of 2013 and the sticker was $32300 and they had it marked down to $26300. That's just about 20% off a new car that just came out. Have also sent a few co-workers there way and they...
Go on you-tube and search stuck rotor. Had the same problem with my 2012 F-150. All the heat and hitting it with a hammer didn't work. Used a couple of jacking screws and pushed it out from behind. The most easiest way to get it off.
Like I said earlier it's sounds like a lash adj (lifter). Mine would come and go and sometimes go days without making a noise. There was no pattern to it. Just figure out which side and replace all of them. That's what the dealer did for me.
I feel your pain. Some stupid bitch w/no license or insurance hit my 14 w/only 500 miles on it and I hadn't made the first payment. Then she ran. Had to deal w/police reports and detectives for 2 months before my insurance company would cover it. Then it took another 11 months to get her ass...
This was my plan all along. Get a base run on a stock car before mods. I wasn't able to do this with my 08gt. I also got a base dyno run right after i got the car. Now I can keep track of my progress.
Car went 13.09@110mph. Not bad for stock car on street tires. Was hoping for high 12's. It's a bit difficult getting out of the hole without spinning. Made 4 runs and this one was the best even after hitting the rev limiter in 2nd gear.
Go see Brent at DTP. He does a great job and stands behind his work. He's local and you wont have to drive 2hrs to see him. He tuned my 08 GT and I was completely satisfied.
Don't waste you time or money. I replaced my stock wheels for a set of brembos and i love em. After i sold the stock wheels and bought the brembos i was out of pocket for $500.
