  • Second, You may also have an issue with the pigtail wire from the CHT to the harness, or the harness itself.
There's not a lot of things that can cause your issue. But a CHT issue will affect things, for sure.
Also, KEEP IN MIND that your temperature sensor in the cluster is NOT a truly linear gauge! It does not accurately track a rise in coolant temp, but just kind-of does, roughly.
First of all, make sure it's NOT the gauge as the real problem! Datalog your 'coolant temp', which of couse is inferred from the CHT; there should also be a CHT PID, but not sure it would be available for your datalogging inputs. See if the signal is actually there, and the gauge is just acting wrong.
Need help with why my CHT sensor keeps going bad. Is it because the kenne Bell intake sits on or hits the CHT sensor pigtail? Why does the needle on my temp gauge dash work then don't work?
Did you get your answer? I don't think the CHT sensor gets relocated. The IAT sensor does get relocated and added to the front-driver side of the KB intake.
Let me know if you have any questions; I don't get on here often, but do check in at times.

My other question is now that I replaced the CHT sensor why does it work then don't work? Does the kenne Bell sit on top of the CHT sensor causing this because it needs to be turned?
