Nice. Fitment was really good. I used pieces of cardboard to get even gaps. Had to enlarge the weatherstrip pre-drilled holes a little. My painter said I need to drive it around for a week to get the hood to cure.

Removed stock hood and pre-fit Cervinis 2.5" cowl hood. Wasn't easy going at it alone but got-er-done. Dropping the car off for paint after the 1st of the new year.
I bought a set of those from american muscle last year and one of them rattled bad. Something must have dropped in there before they were welded up. Sent them right back. If I were stuck with them I'd try a big magnet to at least keep it stationary. Cutting it open and having a muffler shop...
I think you are correct. I'll look for that block and report back. Not even sure it's repairable if I locate it. As for the TCI, I have no desire to manually shift the car and I actually like the stock piece. I appreciate all of you help.
Thanks for your reply. Micro switch looked fine-a little rough when moving through the guide (needs lube). I never fully removed the shifter to adjust/set the slide linkage. All I did was remove the lever then try to reinstall it and that's when the Prob arose. That tells me the Prob lies...
Painted my shifter bezel (chipped/peeling) and cleaned up a spill today which entailed removing console and shifter lever. Hung up due to button not working and lever not wanting to lock in Park. First issue is the long plastic pin w/ spring in the handle isn't reaching/locking into the metal...
