    You have to take the air bag out. there is one 7mm bolt on the left side and two bolts on the right side of it and only way to get to take the air bag out since the airbag cover is connected to the airbag. I just recently did all the rings in a 2014.

    your going to have to take the airbag out to get to it. there is a 8mm bolt on each side of it that hold the center vent panel on. so you have to take the gauge cluster panel off, which just pops off then you have to take the airbag out to get the airbag cover over and expose the other bolt...

    2014 tail lights on my 2010.

    I have some 2014 tail lights im putting on. I have a friend that has done the same on his 2012. My wiring harness is a little different than his and I cant plug mine into the new tails. I can go get a set of 2014 wiring harness or will that not work? any ideas? I know many people have done this...

    well got to work early still couldnt get the pinion out. gonna put a torch to it and heat it up while someone is hitting it later. i went ahead and took the seal out and I could see that the bearing had just exploded so I think I got very lucky. could have been worse. so I just need to replace...

    im sure of it. i had to drive it back to the dealership and drive it into the shop. so its good and stuck now. F it I guess. new ring and pinion. it really sucks to say I work in BMWs all day and cant get a freakin pinion out to save my life lol
