I was kind of restless this morning so I got bored and felt the urge to wrap stuff. So I pulled out the panel of the gauge cluster, face plate over the radio and a/c controllers and the center console and went to town. none of it is permanent I just wanted to see how it would come out and I actually did a hell of a job. I do plan to eventually do all the panels 1 color either brushed black metallic or satin black and leave and the chrome rings in the car gloss black. anyway here's pics of what I've done. I messed up on the face plate around the screen. I forgot how it when inwards and i cut it to short.

When you get to the chrome ring around the two center AC vents, let me know. When I bought my car my first issue was the blinding sunlight reflecting off that damn chrome right in my eyes. My window tint guy gave me some black vinyl to cover it but he wasn't willing to do it. I couldn't immediately see how to remove the piece to wrap it so I just did it in place the best I could. It's ok but has a wrinkle. One of these days I'd like to pull it out and redo it but it hasn't been a priority.

your going to have to take the airbag out to get to it. there is a 8mm bolt on each side of it that hold the center vent panel on. so you have to take the gauge cluster panel off, which just pops off then you have to take the airbag out to get the airbag cover over and expose the other bolt.

Im gonna try to get to it this week but im still debating if I want to wrap the panels with satin black or brushed black metallic.

I finally did the radio face last night so it matches the cente console now. No idea why it keeps coming out side ways.

Looks good, reminds me of the piano black interior trims of BMWs which people would lust over them.

You have to take the air bag out. there is one 7mm bolt on the left side and two bolts on the right side of it and only way to get to take the air bag out since the airbag cover is connected to the airbag. I just recently did all the rings in a 2014.
