just a guess here...the fan has 2 speeds, are you getting high speed when you hot wire it? or can you get low speed too. Maybe the car is calling for low speed, which isn't working but high speed does.
There is a wire by the front passengers right foot that can used for a trunk release button that I located in the glove box. I don't remember exactly how. It's been years ago but its easy. The instructions are on this site and on The Mustang Source forum.
this should help get started, any...
If you want it noticeably louder you want 2 horns with different tones. Then run a dedicated higher gauge power wire from the battery to the horn and use the original horn power wire as the switch lead for the relay that you will install by the horns.
The stock wiring is always the bare...
Take the belt off and check all of the pulleys and idlers. Are the bearings good? Are any hard to turn? Are any loose which would also cause alignment issues. Fix any issues. Then buy a new belt, maybe a bit shorter as stated above and see what happens from there.
Even if you spend a lot of money replacing the bulbs, the stock fog lights will still be mostly useless due to the reflector and lens design. A brighter bulb will just create more glare in front of you. It won't push more light down and to the sides of the road.
If you want good lighting look...
If you're interested, I'd sell mine for $900 with low mile Bridgestone tires and near perfect wheels. With you being in Illinois we could probably do it in person. I've been thinking about new wheels but I don't really want to ship my current one.
Overall I really like the look, but I wouldn't...

Both of the kits you linked use the same caliper which is a brembo copy. The Brembo 4 piston calipers will bolt on directly and need 14" rotors and new brake hoses. The only difference is one link is calipers only and the other is calipers and rotors. Plus you're paying a lot extra for red...
There are 2 flywheel bolt patterns. The stock GT is 6 bolt. The GT500 is probably 8 bolt.
The pressure plate from the GT500 may not bolt to the GT pressure plate. But I don't know for sure.
The TR6060 is a 26 spline input shaft and bigger dia than the stock 10 spline.
The throwout bearings are...
I only have this one pic. I don't have my Mustang at work. I started with a smaller hole and made it bigger and then realized I was never going to get what I needed so I added the extra pilot. Most of the oval shape is under the strut tower bar. If I would have added the 2nd pilot sooner, the...
