The 3 wires that go into plug at back of alternator look very frail and brittle They must get very hot where situated I will test them for continuity tomorrow The alternator must be getting 12v supply or it would not work ? i assume the other 2 wires go to pcm ?

Update Been to car this morning Theft light flashes then does go off once ignition is turned to on position so maybe not a PATS issue as i said before i opened car with key as normal and alarm went off Alarm went off when i turned ignition on is there a relay i can jump to start it or maybe...
