Just ran 8.0@87mph with a 1.81 60ft. Really trying to get this 7.90 lol I did a 2nd gear burnout around 60mph. Going to try to heat them up more this time
Thank you for the advice. I never considered actually looking at the mph as I'm doing a burnout. I wish MT still made that tire in a 265. Now all they list is a 285 which is too wide for my stock wheels and a 245 which just seems more narrow than I'd want.
But yes I definitely plan on...
Uhh I had them at 32psi for the street and just dropped them from there to see what it would do but it honestly didn't change much with any psi I tried. And I couldn't do great burnouts at the track because I was getting pretty bad wheelhop and didn't want to break anything so I mostly just did...
3.31 gears and on the old ET Streets I was slipping the clutch from 4500rpms. Anything more than that would either spin or clutch protection would kill power in all of 1st gear.
A friend of mine actually had these same Welds last year with smaller 275/40-17 NT05Rs on his 2011 GT with cat and...
I just ordered some 315/35-17 NT05Rs for my 2014 GT that's basically stock with roush mufflers and rear 17x10.5 Weld RT-S wheels.
Last season I was cutting 1.82 60fts running 8.02@89mph in the 1/8th with 265/40-18 MT ET Streets on stock 18x8 wheels. I wanted 305/45-17 ET Street S/S but they...
Yeah it took me a little while to get use to the throttle but I do let completely off the pedal after revs. Would the dashpot setting be something I have to let Bama know I want altered or could I do it myself once I get the X4? I know they have quite a lot of new features compared to the old X3...
Hey guys so I have a pretty much bone stock 2007 GT automatic with Thrush axlebacks. I bought a used Airaid Race cold air intake that I couldn't pass up on so I'm looking to buy an SF4/X4 tuner to be able to install the intake.
I have a question about tuning though. I've noticed in my S197...
I'm trying to diagnose the issues my car has so I can possibly fix them and drive it without being so stressed out all the time that it's going to kill itself lol currently it makes two separate noises
1. A high rpm whine like an alternator or power steering pump. It only happens above...
Well I had my current trans drained and the filter replaced. The dealership said it had really fine grey dust which was normal, but it also had some tiny flake like shavings that were brass. So now I'm worried that I'll need this B&M trans sooner than later.
What do you guys think about the...
Thanks for the review man. It's really hard trying to find much info about these transmissions for some reason. If it works well in his car then it should last forever in mine that will just stay with bolt ons lol
The seller says he's had the fluid and filter changed, along with the shifter solenoid around 5,000 miles ago because the solenoid was damaged by a faulty alternator. Is that a common thing on these cars?
So I'm looking to buy a back up trans in case my stock unit ever goes out in the future and a guy is offering me a B&M unit for $1000+ shipping that has an estimated 15xxx miles. Are these trans reliable and well built? I haven't been able to find much info on B&M besides their ratchet shifters
