    Trunk trim fastener frustrations

Can anyone post a for sale link with the correct application? When I do a search for "D1420 Well Nuts" I get all sorts of sizes. Thanks

    100k miles

Some of the people in the industry said that flushing coolant for any other reason than a flush are not really going anything especially if using current coolants. It's not a big deal to do,just a thought...

    Road Trip

What's the daily rental? Did you get it from Hertz or Touro?

    Battery type?

I "inherited" a AAA battery in the Saleen. Would have much preferred the Motorcraft but the current one is still strong. I do disconnect it if the car has to sit for a while.

    100k miles

My daily drive is 30 mi each way mostly on a freeway with few curves. It wouldn't make any sense to beat up the Saleen as a DD. For weekend canyon runs I have several bikes I can choose from plus 2 track bikes for the track riding. If I sell the Saleen I doubt I'll try replacing it with...

    100k miles

Wow, quite a bit of very useful info. Surprised that the service advisor at the dealer didn't know much besides the oil change. Dropped the oil yesterday, swapped the filter and drain plug. The Salween has just a hair (few miles) under 100k. I'm at the crossroads of whether to keep or sell...

    100k miles

My 2006 4.6 MT5 is about yo crest the 100k mile mark. Called and asked the service advisor at Galpin what service should be done at 100k. The reply was only an oil change since the car runs great and no MILs on dash. Car just passed smog 30 days ago, doubt the PCV will need replacement. Jury...

S197 GT owners: What’s it like as a daily? Coming from a New Edge GT

Had a soft spot for s197 and even a softer spot for an s197 Saleen. Bought it 4 years ago with 89k miles on the clock from the original owner. Came with a stack of service records which were mostly for oil changes and scheduled service. Was my daily when I worked 5 miles from my house, now...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Had the windshield replaced after a rock chipped and cracked it. Installed a new OE SALEEN windshield decal. Oil change tomorrow with OE filter and oil, she's good as new.

Rebuilt title 2005 Ford Mustang Deluxe Convertible 4.0L v6, is it a good deal?

The gaps on the passenger front around the fender and bumper look off. In fact the right fender appears misaligned from looking at the last photo. Definitely inspect front inner structure (right apron, radiator support, etc.) for damages. The misalignment seen could be a sign of a structural...

Will there will be a run on S197 cars shortly?

Clean low mile one owner GT will burst out first with V6 S197 lagging pretty far behind, similar to what all classic 'Stangs are experiencing. Mustang was a performance car first, so those with snipped cojones will always be a "bargain alternative to getting into a classic Mustang". What is...

Looking for Mustang Indie Service in LA/SFV/Conejo Valley

I have a 2006 S197 Saleen and looking for a recommended independent tech located in San Fernando or Conejo Valley area. Los Angeles will work as well.

Where the hell are all you SoCal people???!!

Just to revive this lifeless thread, I’m in SFV and a member of Valley Mustangs Club. Given the current situation, needless to say their events are all shut down until further notice but it’s a good venue to consider if you are close enough to the area.
