draw thru, midly annoying WG placement, pipes WAY too low.
But they have great customer service, and ship promptly when possible.
Unless you're building a drag car though, a supercharger is much easier to work with.
I'm just going off my experience with it, I was getting blow out until we went below .032.
Had to gap them myself after the shop I ordered them through didn't do it right.
I was going to go with an AEM gauge type controller
It was 200% shit.I cannot say enough BAD things about that crappy controller. If you want to try to get it working/work with AEM's warranty process be my guest. You're better off with an E-boost or an Apexi unit.
.32 is going to be iffy.
If...
2: I run HT0's gapped at .28. Any plug will do though, just get one that's one heat range colder
3: Nothing needs to be wrapped around the exhaust, unless you're talking about the turbo, I use a simple heat shield.
4: Any BOV will work, if you're using the HP kit you should get their BOV I'd...
OP I'm thinking you're looking for tuning software
not an X3 handheld tuner
The tuning software allows you to change a large amount of the settings, more than you'd need unless you're looking to go beyond a typical blower stroker setup
In for pics, etc. Boost brothers came up a bunch when I was doing research for what I wanted to do but I never saw a kit for the S197s. Curious to see what they've done.
Turbonetics as far as I know doesn't make an electronic boost controller, probably just a manual one.
balance and blueprint isn't too much. Local shop quoted me ~350ish when I was just talking shop with my old tuner about a deal on a stroker kit he had.
Definitely worth it if you're going with stronger internals.
It's not as bad as you'd think but it's still pricey
If you did what I did then your converter is possibly damaged, and your pump is probably gonna need replacement. No way of knowing for sure but if your input shaft sheared then that's a better sign than hearing audible harsh grinding
Level10...
That's what happened to me
Sheared the input shaft, it got jammed in the converter and it tore up the front pump
Luckily that's ALL that happened and everything else runs now, I just need to chew level10's ass out now since the FIRST time we talked on the phone they assured me it was built...
had this same shit happen recently AFTER level10 built my transmission
bits of the shaft look like a stock one but that definitely sounds like your problem.
New input shaft, make sure it's actually billet, I'm locked in a battle between level10 and my tuner right now between whose fault...
500whp will kill your transmission and engine over time
the order of which depends on how you drive it
Sounds like you won't last as long as the ~500 whipple or KB guys
