Green/violet as well as the brown can be used for WOT.

Correct me if I am wrong, i thought you wanted to use whatever wire none of the coils had in common color wise for the tach signal?

As for the coil wire, that's what I heard but it was in reference to the 3V cars. I'm sure it's the same, I'll confirm soon enough.

Seer - Did you get the hardline kit like in the pics or do you have hoses going from solenoid to plate?

Graham - After we talked I went back and looked at the pics at the beginning of this thread using the hardlines from the solenoids to the plate. I definitely think this will work for me as long as you can confirm a few things:

Do they fit the same with the stock intake manifold/TB placement? (the one in the pics is the Boss intake)

Will I have room to put my Autometer nitrous pressure gauge sensor inline with the nitrous line in and the nitrous solenoid? Right now mine goes nitrous in -> autometer sensor -> solenoid -> purge solenoid.

I attached some pics so you can reference the size of the Autometer sensor. Definitely conjested with the extra slack in the hoses from solenoid to plate...hardline kit should clean it up. Also put a pic of how I mounted the bottle in the spare tire well, turned out good.

Mine is an NX kit, so my solenoids are mounted to my plate.

As for the coil wire... thats what I had heard as well.. I am using a msd window switch.

Just got off the phone w/Chris. Hardline kit/bracket on the way tomorrow.

I'll post up pics of the finished job when all is done.

Stand alone fueling does a lot to help out. Really it's more of a questions of how reliable you have to have the vehicle, and what your tuning capability's are.

200hp+ on the stock bottom end is simply a smaller tuning window to hit than on smaller shots. But it can be done with the right tune up. It takes good plug reading to dial in a shot like that on non-forged pistons.
Also, just like everyone else, this is a very new platform for me as well. So some of my opinions on these might change. I am just trying to give out the best information I can with all the data we have so far.

Boss 302 = forged bottom end

I'm convinced! I'm going to start piecing my kit together. Just called LMR and ordered the hardline plate kit, purge kit, blow down tube, and the switch panel.

I think all I'm missing is new spark plugs, a tune, a nitrous controller/window switch, and a tune.

I'm thinking of going with a Nano pressure regulator instead of a bottle heater.

Any thoughts on this last part??

if its the same thing im thinking of, its a win. it keeps your pressure constant by turning the warmer on and off to maintain it, which is awesome. i had the old school warmer back in the day and forgot i left it on.

Is this Harim?
If so it was good talking to you today.
Dave

Hiram... close enough! Good talking to you as well and thanks for all the help.

Can't wait to gather everything and get it installed. Trying to not cut corners with the system so it might take me a bit more time.
