It would be nice if it used the newer style O2 sensor.
But all in all I think it's pretty cool.

What style o2 did you mean? are you referencing to the 4.9?
here are the specs below
This bad boy also holds data logs
All you gota do is go and Dl them
How FnSweet is that

ON-BOARD DATA LOGGER
The system contains an on-board data logger for logging over three hours of data recording (20 Hz per parameter) of AFR, RPM, boost, alarm, and others. Data logs can be downloaded for viewing in the new AEMdata software.

AEMdata On-Board Data Logging AFR Plot.
WHAT IT INCLUDES
The 52mm (2-1/16”) Wideband FAILSAFE Gauge includes a Bosch 4.2LSU AFR wideband sensor for monitoring and feedback of AFR and an on-board boost sensor to read vacuum or boost pressures up to 29 PSIG. Both boost and AFR can be displayed in real time on the gauge’s face using the full color OLED screen and 24 three-color sweeping LEDs. The gauge includes a low side output for triggering a failsafe strategy in the event AFR falls outside of the operating window (example strategies below), and an RPM input to log RPM for tuning purposes.

Though this is an old thread, it's the first I've hears of this gauge.

@Jeremy
I usually respect your opinion, but I don't see why you're so negative about this gauge. It does an awful lot for the price. Hell, just the logging capability is awesome, vs having a laptop, handheld, and firewire cable all strewn about your car. Plus, if there is even the slightest chance it can save your engine by cutting something like an EBC solenoid, it would be worth many times its asking price.

This thing would have been awesome if it displayed fuel pressure instead of boost.
I've got 1 too many gauges, looking for places where I can see them and they don't look out of place.

Anyone get one of these yet? $316 isn't bad....
I'm thinking about it. I want to get rid of the two AEM widebands I have now and go to one. I had two for years, simply because I had so many exhaust issues. I went through a bunch of revisions back when I had the V6, before finally giving up and accepting the V6 is just destined to sound like shit. I had one exhaust leak that was causing all sorts of problems. I didn't know about it because it was on the side of the exhaust my first wideband was not on. Having two made me feel better about knowing if I had a leak or not. I'm past that.

Back from the dead, I finally pulled the trigger.

Just need to figure how I'm going to kill the ecu when it goes lean . I'm thinking one of the key/ignition wires must feed the ecu, I'll start there unless someone knows a better way.

im curious as well. I have the gauge installed already. I have held off hooking up the failsafe part, don't know how without having a stand alone ignition system. also haven't hooked it up to the spark to read rpms yet either. The boost and wideband work really well. The datalog would be awesome too if I had the rpms wired up but obviously it just shows boost and a/f on the datalog. The only thing I don't like about the gauge is it doesn't light up at night, just the digital center and sweeping light lights up

Why not just series it into your boost controller solinoid and kill it.

Ebay has them for $297 and free shipping

yup, thats what i paid for mine

i did think about this, but i would still be running off a 9 psi springs if i did kill the boost solenoid

Since I didn't go with this gauge, decided to use this instead.

I looked at those, but for the money i figured getting a new wideband and boost gauge all built into one unit would be the way to go. with this one i can set up both analog devices for datalogging off one gauge also, it will allow you to log the wideband and the boost right to my SCT, and also seperately to the AEM software so i can compare them. This gauge also datalogs all the time while you are driving, so if something funky happens just driving around, as long as i can get a PC hooked up to it with in 2.5 hours of drive time, i can go back and check it out.

Thats sweet. Most of us have WOT boxes, why not trigger the clutch switch wire to the WOT box. Most of the time if you go into any fail safe your foot will be matted (gas) anyways so the trigger of clutch would engage wot box cutting spark? Seems possible. Cutting the car off would/could be bad

that was another way i was thinking, i may try it, it may be enough of a jolt to get my attentions. my concern with the it is 1) i have to rely on the WOTBOX being active with my throttle pressed to activate the box, i make boost pretty easy and i can be half throttle and already 8-9 psi spooled up before i even go WOT, ill have to look at the throttle position i have set up in the WOTBOX 2) when i do activate the WOT, my rpms drop but my boost climbs a lot, thats with the clutch pushed in,not sure what would happen without the clutch actually pushed in,I'm guessing it would feel like a rev limiter

So
Now that Im back in the saddle and the car is running.

I ran a wire for the failsafe to the ECU.
But I have not connected yet.

Looking for everyone else's experience
Im almost done tuning with Lito
So im either cutting ignition at the ECU, or Connection to the WOT Box.
Anyone wired to the WOT?

Thanks

All of the gauges I bought for my car have and output which you can set for any high or low setting. Oil, fuel and manifold pressure along with a wideband can all be set individually. Another nice function is the full face warning. You can set a high or low point and set what color you want it to change to when it reaches that point. Hit 10% over or under your preset mark, and it flashes. I think this is a neat feature because I don't have to have my gauges clocked and facing all different directions any more. I'm still playing with the settings but my plan is to have them turn green at WOT if they hit their respective marks. That way I don't even have to really look at them. If they're all in the green I'm good to keep my foot in it.
