O'Reilly's scan my car and got 44 codes

I I have an 06 GT. Couple years ago I totaled it. It's sat for a while got it going again. It drives okay if I drive like Miss Daisy. If I get on it it falls on its face. Same way with top end. Driver side airbag deployed when I tee bone the tree. Any ideas?

Might help if you listed the codes.

buy O'Reilly's tonight and have him buy O'Reilly's tonight and have him rescan it and make a list of it. It was like every coil pack O2 sensors cylinder overhead heating sensor damn near everything on the car

With that many fault codes, plus the history of a frontal collision, I'd suspect a damaged ECU.

Passenger side hit the tree? Near the front of the door?

driver side knock back axle out of it

Try clearing them all and see which ones come back?

P1289. cylinder head temperature sensor High circuit input
P040. camshaft positioner sensor A circuit bank 1
P0344. Camshaft positioning sensor A circuit intermittent

Did the charging system get grounded out in the accident?

Did you replace the Battery, Alternator, and the power wire from the batt to the alt?

No to all. but come to think of it after except for like a year and a half and I went to start it it had a real bad mess a lot more than what it had when I run after I wrecked it in the process of finding the mess one by one I disconnected each injector in each coil pack. What's with count for 16 of the errors.

after the scan after the scan at O'Reilly's I had them claret they said they could not clear 5 of them 1B in the airbag to be in the head heater thing I forget what three and four five was

today I had today I had AutoZone scan it and they came back with them three. It said nothing about the deployed airbag. How good was that scan?

I found out that turning the key on, even for an instant with stuff disconnected causes numerous error codes. The codes will persist for a while even after you're reconnected everything. That's why is suggested clearing them all and then concentrate on the stubborn ones.
