What different color did/would you repaint your car?

My car is in desperate need of a paintjob. It's white because well, that's the color they had with the wheels I liked and the price I wanted. It looks fine but I wouldn't mind a color that says "look up from your phone and don't hit me." Not worried about arrest-me colors because I'm a fairly sane driver.

I was thinking maybe the new-for-'26 Adriatic Blue

Maybe the Dark Highland Green although I don't want the "that's not a real Bullitt" convo

Red, orange, or yellow.

A complete color change is difficult. Getting paint into some areas requires disassembling the car. Maybe get it wrapped. Much cheaper, and easier to change down the road. I think it is anyway. How hard is wrap to remove?

Good point. That can get very expensive. Maybe keep the same color, but do a nice stripe package. That will add some pop and keep the paint job a bit more affordable. Just thinking out loud!;)

I actually wished Ford had made some original Mustang colors available, even as a special order. The light metallic green, grabber blue, performance white and competition orange just aren't close enough.

The old Gulf Stream Aqua would have been phenomenal with a new variation of the 69 Mach1 side stripe.

I get you. I bought my Church pianist's white V6 for just the $1200 they offered her on trade, but really wanted a "color." After a short while the decision was made to embrace a white/black/charcoal theme and then I stumbled on some red stuff at a u-pull yard. Wifey liked the red bling so more was added here and there.

Now I have a similar white GT getting the red bling and such transfered to it. I'll eventually repaint, but thinking of a different white (pearl, satin...). Unless you completely take the car apart it is less complicated not to do a color change.

This is the boring V6 from day one and then various stages of tweaking:

The day the GT joined the club, and while both interiors were gutted and getting swapped/modified. Still a work in progres...
