Im looking at a very used system that includes everything but supercharger. Fuel pump, injectors, pulleys, intake, piping, intercooler, idler, water gooseneck and brackets hardware. Is the supercharger itself available? What value would this kit have? Please dont suggest DOB intake as they are near $4k thanks

Why do you want a used one? There is no support for it. I don't think Whipple will even rebuild the 3 valve blowers.

Its not that I want used. Its a money thing. So they aren't available? Ive been looking for a used one and can't find one that I can afford. If i have a manifold maybe i could adapt something to it. I would like to stay NA but too pricey to get that kind of hp.

Bluntly, if you can’t afford a decent blower, risking bending a 3v rod and ruining the short block is an expense not worth taking tbh.

You know if you can't afford to go with an SC, why not go with some nitrous? My current build is going to be NA with a 200 or 250 shot. The cost of a new set up and tune is going to be les than half the price of going FI.

curious question from me and prob dumb to ask but would you need to upgrade the standard rods for a nitrous kit 07 Boss?

A stock motor will easily handle a 50-150hp shot of juice. Anything more than that you’re running into potential issues. Also, automatic trans is much more forgiving than a manual gearbox.

I would say that 450 rwhp is a safe limit for stock rods though I ran closer to 500 for many years with my whipple. I have since backed the timing off and figure I'm around 465. With conservative timing I think were pretty safe up to 500 but it needs to be a spot on tune.
