Cruise control not working

Ever since I got my Mustang in 2021, the cruise control has not worked. What is the most common reason on these cars for a failed system? Where should I start looking for a fix?

Do the cruise buttons work?
Does the speedo work?
Has it been trans swapped?

Check both brake light switches on the brake pedal. There’s one higher up on the pedal. If the bracket gets bent the cruise control won’t work and the brake lights can act strange. You can bend it back by hand easily. I had that happen when I was working on mine a few months ago.

Does the horn work? It might be the clock spring.
