    tire wear on inside rear

    My wife's car has 18x9 with 275-40's.The outsides of the tires have plenty of tread but the inside of the rear tires is almost bald.I know if it were the front it would be an alignment issue but on the rear I'm not sure what could cause this.Any help would be appreciated.

    gear whine on deceleration

    Changed my gears out over the weekend.I figure that i didn't get proper pinion bearing preload.The whine is noticable but not extremely loud.I will be driving 75 miles from now till the weekend.Will it be ok till the weekend so i can take it apart and adjust it properely.
