    Nice runs Andy. Sounds to me like the converter isn't locking up. Back when I was running the nitrous I had a 115.5 MPH trap speed at 6150 RPM's with a 26" tire and 4.10's. The converter would lockup just after the 4th gear shift. Since then I have gone N/A and have the converter locking up...

    When I was running the nitrous I always sprayed out of the hole. 3000 stall TCI, 4.10's and the stock driveshaft. Probably 50 runs on a 100 shot with 60's in the 1.57 - 1.58 range. Never had a problem with it.

    He had 4.30's in it when he broke into the 11's. His front suspension, an AJE K-member and A-arms, with Strange Engineering Fox body struts modified to fit an S197, Granatelli coil overs with 175# springs. The tranny is a 5R55S which will not react the same as a stick car.
