    Brembo brakes 2009 GT

Ah. Watched the vid for a bit. Driving with the hand controls seems completely unorthodox, but looks like you've got it down. Much as I'm not a fan of paddle shifters, would it be worthwhile to rig one up to work with your right hand? Might be a challenge to coordinate, but I'm guessing...

Check out these tail lights for a 05 - 09 GT

Beautiful work. I've never seen aftermarket taillights that I consider an aesthetic improvement over factory. Until now. These look pretty much perfect. If they ever go into production, I'm in!

New Whiteline front and rear sway bar setup

Thanks for the comprehensive reply, Terry. Whitelines are actually what I ordered; should deliver today. Will install those and go to full stiff on the front bar this weekend.

New Whiteline front and rear sway bar setup

Thanks, Norm. Didn't consider buckling, but I assumed the same on the strut housing distortion. I'll source some adjustable end links, and go full-stiff on the front bar; it's currently on the middle setting (35mm BMR).

New Whiteline front and rear sway bar setup

Questions for Norm or Terry (or anyone else who'd care to chime in): Is there anything to be gained from stronger front-bar end links, since they're under compression? At the stiffer bar levels, is there any distortion to the strut housing, and, if so, does it matter?

    Springs.

    I shoulda listened to Gabe.

Jesus Christ. You are WAY overthinking this. "Bulge" doesn't mean shit. Go drive the thing and get the tires hot, pull over, and check temps across the width of the tread with an infrared thermometer.

    2008 cooling system bleed

I've searched, and searched, but can't find an answer for a post-'07 (without the crossover tube) anywhere. It's time for a coolant change. What's the procedure for bleeding/burping the cooling system on these?

    Lowering springs supporting mods

How much camber gain is realized by clocking the GT500 strut mounts? I'd like to get rid of my camber bolts, but don't want to go with camber/caster plates.

Steeda tuning request form...CAI not listed, what to do?

Doug from Bama was da man when I had a 5.0 Explorer almost 20 years ago. I have the Brenspeed tunes on my car. Only engine "mods" are mufflers (for tone) and a K&N panel filter inside an opened-up stock airbox. Car had 30K miles on it at the install, 55K on it now. With Brenspeed's tune, it...

    2007 V6 S197 vs a SN95 GT (02-04) for HPDE

Again, Miata. But if you really want to track a Mustang (and I get it), the S197 is light-years better that the SN95. I had a '97 Cobra with pretty much the entire MM catalog on it, and it handled nowhere near as well as my '08 GT. The design of the newer platform is that much better.

    Track Day Videos

Sweet! I had a GT wagon. Nice handling car with minimal work, but that engine... I was in college, so short on $$, but I really wanted to do the Buick/Olds 215 transplant. Totally transforms the car. Curious - what did you do get power out of it, and make it last? Mine was steel-sleeved...

    Sky Render's Build Thread

My car had K springs on it when I bought it. Never tracked it with those, so I can't compare there, but the P springs are way nicer on the street. Are you running the same wheels/tires in the non-cornering pic? What are they? Sorry for the semi-hijack.

    How much is too much?

I get it. Trying to justify a second set of wheels/tires for the too-infrequent track days I attend. Maybe it'd be incentive to go more often! Good idea. And based on Dave's input, I'll likely cut off the top section, anyway.

    How much is too much?

Maybe it's an inch. Didn't measure; just guessed from the visual. But I get your point. That said, there's a measurable amount of compression in the untrimmed bump stop before it goes "solid", right? Snap oversteer is what we used to get when we lifted throttle mid-corner in a pre-'64...
