    Gas Gauge Curfufflal

Good advice, and it's quite possible I do have it backwards so it's best to check. The best choice of fuel pump is the '07+ OEM unit (part no. 7R3Z-9H307-C). If you want to upgrade to a higher flowing pump (unnecessary below 400rwhp and NA), the DW300M 340lph is a popular choice. By comparison...

I want to make my car a little quieter...

Interesting. Your dyno curves look almost identical to what I'd expect with the bigger 127500 cams and the stock intake manifold with delete plates. The Ford Racing intake manifold typically sacrifices torque in the 3300-5100rpm range and adds it higher up, and your HP curve hadn't even peaked...

    Weird front End clicking/ticking

It's difficult to diagnose just from the video. The only thing I can suggest is to raise the car on a two-post lift and have a mechanic listen underneath while you're in the driver's seat revving the engine up in 1st gear. Hopefully he might detect the source of the noise.

I want to make my car a little quieter...

Do you have the dyno numbers and sheet for that set up? Did you have underdrive pulleys, an aluminium driveshaft, or lighter weight flywheel at the time?

    Gas Gauge Curfufflal

I believe the fuel tanks, fuel pumps, and sending units are exactly the same on both the V6 and the GT.

    Gas Gauge Curfufflal

The signal from the passenger side sending unit operates the fuel gauge from E to 1/2, while the driver's side sending unit operates the gauge from 1/2 to F. It sounds to me like the driver's side sending unit is faulty in your case. That's the side where the fuel pump is too. It's possible the...

    2010 GT Experiencing a Flat Spot/Bog

I suggest you: 1. Thoroughly clean the inside of the throttle body if you haven't already. 2. Remove the insert from your CAI and get a tune from either Brenspeed or Lito.

Having some Codes and Issues with my Mustang

The NTK sensors have been shown to be reliable and will work with any cat. I'd recommend the Pypes high flow cats (ceramic if you're on a budget, metallic if forced induction) since they're 300 cells per inch and will pass emissions. There are other high flow cats that are 200cpi or less and may...

2009 4.6 rough idle and white smoke

It sounds like your engine's oil burning problem is pretty serious. I suggest you perform compression and leak down tests on all cylinders to determine if there's significant ring-bore wear. If those check out OK and oil isn't getting past the piston rings from the bottom end of the crankcase...

removed sway bar causing air turbulance

I know the question wasn't directed to me but I have your answer (Ford part no. AR3Z-6C038A) on this page of my site (plus more drag reduction mods to inspire you): https://www.angelfire.com/my/fan/Mustang2006GT/Aero.html Good luck finding one 'cause they seem to have been discontinued. You're...

How do I make 400whp in an 06 GT?

Since you're on the subject of EVs and the thread title is how to make 400rwhp, here's a dyno graph of a Tesla swapped 2007 GT nicknamed the Testang (should have been Muskstang IMO) that put down 400rwhp & 340rwtq. It ran the 1/4 mile in 11.78 @ 117.28.

How do I make 400whp in an 06 GT?

Yeah, 350+rwhp (400+hp crank) is quite easily achievable but the best way to get there if you want to minimise low rpm torque loss and have a strong midrange (340+rwtq) is: JLT 3 CAI Underdrive pulleys DIY ported OEM TB OEM intake manifold with DIY port matched delete plates 127400 SPR cams...

How do I make 400whp in an 06 GT?

There's two routes to achieving 400rwhp from a 3V engine: 1. Naturally-aspirated. You'd need to just about throw the kitchen sink at a stock short block (CAI, 62mm TB, intake manifold, ported heads with upgraded valve springs, SPR cams with phaser limiters/lockouts, LT headers/mid-pipe, EWP...

Having some Codes and Issues with my Mustang

I'm confident you'll solve your problems by doing the following: 1. Extract the broken passenger side header studs and get new bolts so that the manifold can be properly sealed to the head. This should get rid of the O2 sensor codes. 2. Install a pair of high flow cats and replace the non...

    Missing on cylinder 1

Good call. A bad cam follower won't cause a compression loss because the corresponding valve can still close properly, but it could cause a misfire because the valve can't fully open to fill the cylinder. A cylinder balance test might be helpful.

    Tire size

To run wider tires that are close to the stock diameter, you'll need any of the following sizes: 255/50R17 or 265/50R17 285/45R17 315/40R17 255/45R18 or 265/45R18 285/40R18 or 295/40R18 255/40R19 or 265/40R19 295/35R19

    Coolant leak

You either have a very small leak from somewhere and the hot coolant is evaporating before you can see it, or the expansion reservoir cap isn't holding pressure allowing coolant vapors to escape. Your best chance of finding any coolant leak is immediately after you shut off the engine when it's...

AAT Sensor Location and Fuel Tables Wisdom Needed

Exactly. At the very least install an oil catch can on the driver's side. I have catch cans on both sides but the passenger side remains bone dry, while the driver's side collects about 40cc every 5000 mile oil change interval. The oil dipstick hardly moves at all, and the engine's nicely broken...

AAT Sensor Location and Fuel Tables Wisdom Needed

That's pretty normal after the car has come to a stop for a minute or so. Even if your air intake is completely sealed from the engine bay, some heat soaking is unavoidable.

MAF and Fuel Trims Wisdom Needed

It looks a bit low to me. I'd suggest you get the genuine Motorcraft MAF sensor (part no. 3L3Z-12B579-BA. In fact, I'd recommend OEM for all sensors and electrical/electronic components. See where your fuel trims are with the OEM MAF sensor and go from there.

MAF and Fuel Trims Wisdom Needed

The ECU should go into closed loop within a minute or so after a cold start up 'cause by then, the front O2 sensors should have warmed up sufficiently to send a voltage signal to the ECU. In closed loop mode, the O2 sensor voltages should fluctuate continuously between about 0.1-0.9v in order to...

    Timing Chain or Motor Swap

If your motor is otherwise healthy, it's probably better to stick to the devil you know and replace the timing systems on both sides rather than gamble on a used motor with an unknown history.

    Ticking/Tapping noise when warm

It depends on your skill level, how much time/patience you have, if you have the correct tools, and whether you're quite happy being bent over the fenders/front panel for hours to do the job. Having a second person to lend a hand does make the job easier. Otherwise you'd need to pay a garage to...

    Ticking/Tapping noise when warm

That sounds to me like a bad cam phaser. When the engine's cold and the oil is at its thickest, a bad phaser may not make any noise at all because there's sufficient oil pressure. Phaser knock typically manifests itself at hot idle and low rpm where the oil pressure is at its lowest. If you can...
