    tire review help

Buy once, Cry once and go with the PS4S. You will be glad you did. I picked mine up just a year ago. IMO, nothing else comes close to a do it all tire. Well worth the premium price.

How to lube BMR front lower control arms? 2005 Saleen Mustang

I had the exact same problem. IIRC I used the 45 but I still had to use a burr and carefully enlarge the hole just a bit and it worked fine.

    Tire size

Those wheels will poke outside the fender quite a lot so I doubt you will be happy with them. Check out the prior links to see what will properly fit for your needs. Typical offsets for that width rim are more like +25-40.

Cams/heads, or go straight for blower?

I am deep into my MLC, so here is my thoughts: 1. IMO, if you're doing anything less than around 800whp, forget the head mods. The stock heads flow extremely well. From my research, the gen1 will live fine with anything up to around 600whp and that is probably a bit conservative. 2. again...

    Installed BMR Suspension, Question?

    1. I would say the turning noise is just the harder suspension bushings. Just be sure and keep them greased especially when first installing. 2. I think the weird engine noise is the same thing. The harder bushings will radiate more engine and drivetrain noise. Unless you did something else...

Boss 302 vs S197 11-14 strut tower brace

The Boss 302 brace will clear the boss intake; the GT brace won't. Other than that, either will do the job.

    Long tube headers upgrade

I have a 2014 GT with only CAI & tune. I also wanted the nice power gain without too much noise level. I installed the ARH LT's with race cats with the rest of exhaust stock. The sound level definitely went up, but not at all annoying IMO. It seemed to have a nice power gain as well. After...

    Longtubes on jack stands?

I recently did mine on jackstands...yes, a PITA, but I didn't run into anything too bad. I also changed the K member, so I took it out which gives good access. I highly recommend you lower the K. If you're not replacing it as I did, you can just let it hang by the suspension, but it's not...

    Bullydog BDX Tuner

Ever since I made my premature purchase of my current InTunes tuner w/Bama tunes, I've been looking around to eventually upgrade both tuner and tunes. I know it has just been released, but the Bullydog BDX looks to be a nice improvement. The one function I hope to have is the ability to...

New Delrin 35mm Sway Bar Bushings

I hope you'll have one available soon for your 38mm big bar where it is most needed. Thanks Dylan!

    Brakes or shocks/struts

You can do the yellows & springs with plenty $ left over. I have Yellows w/BMR Handling springs-they are awesome. I'd say that's the best bang for the buck.

What coil-overs should I buy? Poll inside

From all the research I have done, Cortex has a front coilover setup that is offset by a decent amount which may allow you to run a square 18X11 setup. I'd recommend giving them a call. Asking for minimal spacer up front and no rear poke is not possible unless you do something for additional...

What coil-overs should I buy? Poll inside

You just asked the question that some people on here consider classified info including guys that own them. For me, I chose a bit more conservative route with 18X10ET43 which has sold a zillion and works well. As I see it, the clearances of concern are the struts to inner side of rim for the...

Race Wheels with or without TPMS?

That is something I am still thinking about. There seems to be a pretty good difference in performance, but also in tire life. That is the one I orig had my eye on. I plan on waiting a few months just to see if anything new shows up and I'll decide then. Very good point!

Race Wheels with or without TPMS?

I've ordered at set of Apex 18X10s. I like the idea of being able to rotate and I've been out of AX for alot of years, so they should be good with minimal clearance issues. I'm planning on RE-71Rs unless I see something I like better in the next few months.

Race Wheels with or without TPMS?

I agree with your thinking and I'm sure I'll not install them. I'm still curious whether you can change between 2 wheelsets without reprogramming every time or is once all it takes. Suppose it doesn't matter, I'm going to save an unnecessary big expense. Anyone know if Bridgestone is going to...

Race Wheels with or without TPMS?

Maybe this is a dumb question, but I can't really find the answer. I am getting a 2nd wheelset just for autocross and I'm wondering if I really need TPMS. If I put them in, will I only need to program them once and be ok for changing back & forth with the street set or will I need to program...

    BMR Watts Link - Teaser

Concerning the noise after the WL install, I noticed during my install the WL frame comes very close to rubbing the passenger side muffler clamp. Once I had the WL torqued, it cleared but still quite close. You should check that and possibly rotate your muffler clamp if necessary. That's my 2...

    BMR Watts Link - Teaser

The instructions say to position the axle clamps as far outboard as possible. Mine are right against the spring mount on both sides. Seems to me the WL will work better with the mounts farther outboard. I would not be so concerned about the few threads showing in the photos

Which 18X10's did you order and why? I want to get a set also, but still haven't settled on any just yet.

    Koni yellows pair best with...

I just recently installed them with the 11-14 specific Koni Sports; they lowered 0.75" front and 1.5" rear. The ride height really looks perfect and the ride is awesome. I agree with you that lowering springs should be linear. My last car had Eibach progressives and I was always scraping on...

First AutoX in a Very long time...

Thanks very much for the info KC; How do you come up with the 51.5 and 39.3 lb/in. if it's not too much? I'll have to look further into it and try to learn a bit. Most interesting. I'm anxious to get all my parts on and see what I've got.
