    Oh yes, I agree and that's always my first response. But it doesn't seem to make much difference to some drivers. I like the idea of the lights coming on and staying on for a second or two, as if I was on the brakes harder, when I'm not. I think a momentary push switch would suffice.

    Okay, thanks. Sounds way more complicated than I need. Maybe there's a way I can replace factory switches with something that actually opens and closes circuit to the bulbs. Or add a pushbutton switch that cuts the light bulbs out. That, I understand.
