    Cams for 4.6 06

Forget all that work. Bolt on a suprecharger, low boost, 8 psi max. The smile from actual power vs, lumpity lump idle.....pricelsess. Less work to boot.

Grams of Air per second. Which is the converted value of the raw MAF data. Maf volts is raw analog sensor data.

    Limp mode problems

Make sure you are monitoring the correct MAF parameter. You want 'MAF volts' change with rpm/throttle input, just to see if MAF working.

    Random High Engine Temp

For what its worth: All my vehicles run @tstat temps on the highway, reading 192*. Idling gets a little warmer, 210-215. Open track pushed high near 230*.

    Random High Engine Temp

If you have the right amount of coolant/water mix, and the system holds pressure, 270*F is the boiling point. Personally, Id pull off and shut down @230-240.

It has to exceed the threshold for misfire counts to set a light.

    Random High Engine Temp

220*F is not abnormal when in stop&go traffic.

It must set code(s) if its misfiring. Unless misfire detection had been tuned out. BTW, is Miss Fire cute?

    Should I get a tune?

Its not as much the octane, but the physical engine itself that determines max power timimg. This is not when detonation is most likely happen. (Sure you can granade wot with too much timing, but thats not the point). If you seen the fuel episode of engine masters, fuel didnt matter. 87...

    Should I get a tune?

    Should I get a tune?

You guys are overthinking it. Ethanol free fuel is nonexistent today. E10 is what we got, and debating the pros& cons of it is totally pointless. And E fuel can make more power, safer, over pure gas in some applications.

    Should I get a tune?

All cars are set up to run e10 after early 2000s. 14.078 afr is the oem setting. Except flex fuel obviously.

What's on your obsolete parts list for s197?

Industry standard. 10 yr planned support ends up to be ~20 years as part stock gets depleted.

Want to know engine oil temps

Unless you are running HPDE, oil temp is about the same as water temp, maybe + a few degrees. It takes about 25 min of beating the nuts off it for oil temp to be a concern.

Slow response from AM customer Service

AM sucks, avoid. Their products are super cheap crap you dont want. Name brand parts are cheaper elsewhere. /end of line
