    1.5 inch Drop on 285s

I have a 2010 GT and lowered it with Ford Performance K's 1.5" all around and have 20 "rims with 275/35 up front and 295/35 rear. I have no issues at all. I did need an adjustable PHB and you will likely need to align the car as well.

    lowering suspension ride quality

I'll post a pic of the car soon. I was also going to say that my springs are progressive. If you use linear springs they are meant more for performance and your ride quality will suffer more as progressive springs will give you a better ride quality. Yea, some may not like 20's but they do make...

    lowering suspension ride quality

I have a 2010 mustang GT. Was on a tight budget so I couldn't spend a crazy amount of money on the lowering of my car and change of the rims and tires. I used Ford performance k lowering springs lowering the car an inch and a half all the way around. unfortunately didn't change my front struts...

H&R SS lowering springs and tire setup

Nice ass Stang bujeezus! Thks for the input! I attached a shot of mine. I definitely need to upgrade to the bigger tires and lower it. I think I'm gonna go with the H&R SS springs although the front could be lowered a little more than an 1". I don't think lowering the rear 1.5" will be enough. I...

H&R SS lowering springs and tire setup

Hi! Anyone have any experience with the H&R SS lowering springs. These will drop the car 1" in the front and 2.3" at the rear. I have a 2010 Mustang GT and the wheel gap in the back is ridiculous at approx. 3 1/4" from fender to top of tire while the front is 1 1/4" from fender to tire. I have...

    Uneven Rear Offset

I have been told that anytime you lower any part of your car then an alignment is necessary.

2010 Mustang GT - Staggered tires

I have the 255/45-18's on the back and they fit very well. No bulging at all. I was reviewing the Goodyear website and I was rethinking to 235/40-18's for the front. Obviously this varies pre vehicle but their chart says that all these tires are compatible with 8 inch rims. What do you think...

2010 Mustang GT - Staggered tires

Hey everyone, I had a question regarding tires on my 2010 Mustang GT. I have stock 18x8.5 rims and the car has P235/50-18 Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric F1 tires on it. I just bought a set of P255/45-18's for the rear but really didn't get the look I wanted as the height of the rear tires still look...
