    Vintage Muscle Cars

Excellent topic. I was partial to Chevy big blocks. Not sure why now that I’m an older coot. Love my stang. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Radiator cover needed?

I really like that glossed black look. Do you recall where the decal / emblem came from? Looks sharp! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Radiator cover needed?

American Car Craft has a polished one but only covers the front panel fender to fender. I just installed that and I like it. I don’t think they currently sell the radiator cover. I’m thinking of trimming and painting my plastic OEM cover to fit with the new polished piece...

    Radiator cover needed?

Looking for advice on radiator cover - does it serve a function, or is it purely for cosmetic purpose? I am thinking of some custom engine bay dress up ideas and just might delete the OEM cover if it serves no cooling function. Looking to customize the upper radiator braces, some painting...

    S197 Rotor Slop / Clunk

Thanks. Yes, it was actually the front wheel well lining. The factory has several push pin type connectors to hold the entire thing in place. I found mine had over an inch of play near the fender well. I am thinking that was enough to bang it against the fender. Might be worth checking out...

    S197 Rotor Slop / Clunk

Just to put a pin in this….. while installing the shims I noticed the plastic wheel well was flimsy. So I braced it to make it firm - not thinking this was anything but cosmetic. After this conversation about rotors, I removed the wheel well bracing and test drove. Low and behold, the loose...

    S197 Rotor Slop / Clunk

I wonder if I inadvertently did something while inserting the “shims”? My initial thought was the rotors were moving slightly and clunking against the studs under those conditions. But now I’m doubting that after your input. The diff and driveshaft parts were replaced with no noticeable...

    S197 Rotor Slop / Clunk

It does seem weird, but it seems to have worked. My wheels were always tightened, and the clunk was with the factory wheels. The factory alignment spacer was removed with the new wheels about 20k miles ago. The wheels are Vintage Wheels 407SSP with center bore at the stock 70.6mm. They were...

    S197 Rotor Slop / Clunk

Solved a “clunk” issue with my 2007 GT vert. Maybe others can benefit. I’m the original owner. Not a daily driver (only 91k miles). Always had a clunk sound when downshifting/ braking while making a turn. Ford dealer was useless in 2007 and I just put up with it, knowing I would upgrade...

    The Electric Mustang

Saw my first MachE mustang today. Not worthy of the name Mustang. Ford went batshit crazy. Electric vehicles will be fringe until nuclear is accepted. Hybrids are the answer for the conservationists. I’m glad I have my S197 with Magnum 6 speed and blower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Rear gears high(er) power centri

I’m running 4:10 with 550hp and 460torque in rebuilt 07 ‘vert with Paxton 2200 at 12 lbs and magnum trans. Love the 4:10 feel (like low-end power). My hardest thing is learning how to keep my non-sticky tires on the road. ps I don’t race - all street and show. So discount accordingly. Good...

Oil catch can Question for Paxton SC. Suggestions?

Perfect timing on this question and the responses. I also have a new Paxton set up on my 07. I noticed my JLT catch cans are trapping more oil. Breathers now seem like the better answer. Also, cleans up the bay. Now I need to research breathers and install. My winter projects just expanded.

    Advice on Oil Filter access

Thanks all. I’m thinking of Canton with AN plumbing with braided lines. A bit pricey but probably worth it for the engine’s life blood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Advice on Oil Filter access

Recently had a Paxton Novi 2200 installed on my 07 GT. Love the power. But need to come up with a solution for accessing my oil filter. The combination of the power steering lines and the new air tubes now constrict access to the oil filter to the point I can’t extract the filter. I think I...

Thoughts on This Suspension - 2007 Mustang GT

I played around with suspension on my 07 vert, finally happy with Steeda coil overs. I can adjust for ride and firmness. I’m not a racer, just searching for great stance and ride. Love these S197s.

Brenspeed B326 Guys . . . Question and Answer Thread

I have the Moroso 20548 seven qt without the windage tray and the billet oil pump gears MMR with high volume oil pump. No issues but I only have 1,000 miles on my B326. I’ve had good luck with Brenspeed so far. But I am an old fart (65) just playing out my teenage years I guess. Just want to...
