Owners manual states "throttle body malfunction - limp mode" Cars not in limp mode, runs better than fine.... mpg are up, hp is up seat of the pants is up..... but I got this wrench lit.....

I went to the dealership and had them run codes...I... they came up with no codes visible in the pcm, yet I still have the orange wrench illuminated on the dash...... they wanted to bring it in the shop, at 160 an hour, to figure out why it's lit but the cars running fine.......

If you look directly below the needle on the tac, you will clearly see the orange wrench. The alternator has been flashing off and on for years, and the tps sensors need to be paired (new rims)

Thanks all for the responses. I neglected to say that I also have installed a breenspeed tune on the v6. It runs like my old stock sn95 gt with the 5 speed and a tune..... but I still have the wrench- no limp mode! Mpg , if I'm nice, can get to 28hyw, city is 15 via the computer.... its...

I got the "orange wrench" when I installed my FRP intake....... drives perfectly fine with no noticeable effects in performance or MPG...... the light annoys me but I can live with it rather than go to the monkey boys at the ford zoo. If I'm making a mistake , please advise, but otherwise it's good.

I havent seen anything about BreenSpeed? Good or bad? I put one on mine (4.0 5speed) and it woke it up...... Not 5.0 woke, but much better than before...... If I baby it, (light throttle, skip shift...) I gained about 1.5mpg too...... What else do you guys do to improve the 4.0?
