Another Tire Thread (28" vs. 26", M&H vs. Nitto, etc)

Just ended up ordering 555r 305/45/18 and some Pirelli 275/45/18 for the front. I'll post pics when I get them mounted and on in the next week or so. FYI, I decided to stick with the Nitto's until I build the motor and crank the boost up. I'm going from an all season 275/19 to a DR 305/18, so...

    Kona Blue + CQuartz

I really, really want to try polishing my car since some swirl marks are starting to make their presence known, especially after seeing pics like this. The damn wheels intimidate the hell out of me though. Great pics, car looks awesome.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Hufen's wheels just showed up today (man, they are monsters.....), so I'm going to pull the trigger on some rubber soon. I'm glad you mentioned this.. I am lowered on Steeda sports (IRC 1" and 1.25" drop). The current setup on my car (275/40-19) calculates...

Hi guys, I recently purchased Hufen's CCW wheels he had for sale here and they are on the way to me right now. I'm doing some tire research and have a few questions for you guys. Some background real quick: My car is a sunny day streeter, and will maybe see the strip once or twice a year...

CCW Weld Wheels SP500 in Satin Black- Lightly used

Hi Hufen, I chose not to PM because I think this info will benefit others as well. I have an 09 w/ Brembos, but have never run a wheel larger than 9.5". Did these require any clearance mods to fit your car (front or rear), or mount some rubber and go. I don't recall the offset I had on my 9.5"...

Idea's for Next Mod (09 Grabber Orange GT)

Appreciate all the feedback guys. The more I'm hearing from you guys, the more I'm thinking I'll stick to cosmetic for the time being. Maybe GT500 front, then air ride, then new wheels (over the course of the next couple years). When we do purchase a new house and I have more room, I'd like...

Idea's for Next Mod (09 Grabber Orange GT)

Hi guys, Thanks for feedback so far. Jeremy - I'm open for suggestions on wheels! Seems most GO cars end up with some variation of a bullet wheel or Shelby CS1. I'd like to keep a clean look but still be different. My initial thoughts are something of a Vossen 5 spoke type.

Idea's for Next Mod (09 Grabber Orange GT)

Hi guys, I don't post much here but am on almost everyday poking around. I've bought two cars off two different members off the site as well, most recently from fhlh in summer of 2014. I've been enjoying the car since I drove it back up from Houston to Detroit! Anyway, my wife and I have...

fyi, those "ball bearings" on the back of the fan are placed in a specific location at the fan assembly supplier to balance the fan/motor to ford's specification.

    How hot is too hot???

I work as a Thermal System's Engineer for a cooling module supplier. Most of the OEM's set their goal temperature at rad inlet ~245F when running the cars out in the desert (up grades, trailer tow if applicable) and will abort the test due to high temp ~260F. Haven't worked too much with Ford...
