I went with the JPC kit (intercooler and ice box). Installing next week (waiting on fittings and hoses) and then have a track rental on 3/31 to test it out. JPC told me to expect ait's around 90*-100*
Not sure if you recorded the ait's at anytime but I have a d1 and my temps were over 190* (on a 60* day) at the end of my runs last October. I'm now going water to air this year to control the temps.
I found a local airbrush guy who was able to do mine. Best part about it was this was cheaper than estimates sent to me for hydro dipping the same parts painted snake skin.
Will be replacing my ProCharger air to air intercooler with the JPC air to water intercooler along with a 7 gal ice tank mounted in the trunk. Looking for pics on how the water lines run under the car.
I contacked ProChrger and discussed their Racing intercooler (Dimensions - 27 x 12 x 4.5; Max Recommend HP - 1300) and they could not tell me what my drop in ait's would be. Not spending $1500 with little to no results.
Sorry by "kit" I ment an intercooler that would work with the ProCharger piping and tank with pump/wiring as that's what JPC offers. Even better is there a company that would be able to help piece together a setup?
Anyone know if someone besides JPC sells an air to water intercooler kit for a '08 Mustang GT, buit motor, running a d1sc at 18lbs boost currently? Thanks
