The fiancee and I haven't gone down the 1/4 in over 2 years
Get to it. These cars are meant to be driven. Not parked and looked at or just dyno queens.

They are meant to be driven. Far too many people park them and only take them out on sunny days. I caught a rash of shit for having my sig pic with my dirty Mustang in the snow and slush. I drive the car. Bought it knowing full well what my plans were with it and how it wasn't going to stay perfect. It is far from it, but every time I get behind the wheel, I get a huge smile as I turn that key and put the parking brake down....

I'm too nervous about driving my stang in the snow, I want to be able to turn it into a fullblown project car, so trying to maintain it as much as possible. I'll probably buy a cheap beater for this winter. A nice 4x4 thats rugged and manly lol.

At 695 hp he damn well better run 10's. I ran 10.46 @ 138 with 50 less horsepower. He should be pushing 9's.

He's switching to a 6R80 soon, his goal is a 10.0 since below that I guess it needs different cage or something

Striped the car after it earned it by finding 10's and staying there consistently at more than one track. And yes they were meant to be driven which is also why I prefer staying with a 93 octane tune for better efficiency (mileage wise) and no difficulty finding aside from that occasional county that only allows 91 octane like I ran into up in NW Indiana one time.

Finally got the driveshaft boot fixed, watts link installed, some bushings & the endlinks replaced, and the frozen brake caliper swapped out. All took much longer than should have, finding parts, getting replacements for new badly manufactured parts, etc. But finally have had few good drives with it without spewing grease, clunking, or trying to catch on fire!

Detailed it and tried out CG Butter Wax. Love the stuff.

I need to check out that car at some point, Cam. It's not an old car by any means, but it keeps looking better and better. I have a feeling it'll age very well.

Damn jealous of that progress! I used a PC and couldnt get enough cut to eliminate all the swirls. Slightly disappointed, maybe some light wetsanding would help. I touched up some rock chips and after wetsanding, compounding, and polishing the chips the paint looked pretty good.
