    Idle Issue 2011 5.0

You should be able to reach and unclip the harness to get it to relax. Im kinda big myself(6'7" and 280), and its a bit tough but easily doable. Probably the easiest way is to remove the battery and tray so you can get to the clip. Get rid of that extension. It will cause nothing but problems

    Battery relocation

What size fuse do you have at the battery? That looks like an AGU fuse holder, so I would think the absolute largest fuse you could get would be 60 amp? Also, the 4 gauge is a little light to be connecting to the front. You can draw some serious current when starting the car, so I would...

A new product to help with the 5.0 coyote #8 cylinder problem

Whats really funny is that the flow through the cylinder heads is less on the passenger's side than on the driver's side. On the passenger side it flows out of the head into 1/2" or 5/8" tube then through the heater core, then back to the water pump. The drivers side head flows right out of...

    Spark Plug Removal

Actually it is a 2010+ specific mandate, whether it be V6, GT 5.0, or GT500 with the battery reversed from previous years and the positive near the number 4 hole. If you happen to touch the extension to the positive post and haven't disconnected the negative terminal, you will short the battery...

Automotive Tools to Use and Avoid

Doing spark plugs I highly recommend these two items. First, the Matco SPK5 spark plug socket set. It has 3 5/8" sockets, all with built in swivel extensions of various lengths. These sockets are perfect for doing plugs on the GT500's and the new 5.0 GT's. Also included in this set is a...
