    MT-82 Synchros & short-throw shifters long term use

    While I only have 4500 on my 11 (not my dd), I have no problems. I switched out to Redline MTL at 600 miles and am now using Amsoil MTG. My MT82 is working fine. Only other tranny mod, is the JHR shift bracket.

    I have it to. Happens on a stone cold engine and only at 2100 Rpm's. Lasts only for a mile or so.

    2013 5.0 Guys - Heads-up on Upcoming Update

    There are others having this problem. A few post on allfordmustangs.com and on themustangsource.com. All having the flashing CEL and misfire. All have a 13 5.0 with manual. Ford changed something on the 13's stock tune for these cars to be having this problem.

    I have this sound when my car is cold. After a mile and the engine warms up, the sound goes away completely.

    2011+ 5.0 mustang shifting issues

    Stock bracket and stock fluid = shit shifting Redline MTL, Amsoil MTG, or BG Syncroshift II and an aftermarket bracket = awesome shifting. Change out the tranny fluid as soon as you get your car.

    Mine has never whined. I switched to Redline MTL at 600 miles though. I dumped the Ford junk tranny fluid as soon as I could.

    It's easy. Do you want to spend 375.00 for a shifter that replaces just the top part, and a bolt on bracket; or do you want to spend 375.00 for a complete shift kit that replaces both the top & bottom portion with the bracket intergrated in? MGW FTW.

    A guy on another site says the 13 manual still say's to use 5w20. Looks like some one may be pulling a fast one...
