05-09 Rear spring isolator thickness

On my 2v's if I wanted them a little lower I'd just remove the iso's and use a more thin rubber, opposed to buying 0.5-1" drop springs. IDK how thick they are on these cars, any first hand experiences? You can lose close to an inch on the 2v's.

These cars don't use isolators like the old ones...at least in the terms I'm thinking. I know you have a mounting pad on the rear axle, but even then, I don't think they sell them for "lowering" purposes.

The mounting pad on my 08 is pretty thin and without getting under the car, they're only about 3/16" thick.
