Yes, those are the nuts to remove to separate the seat from the seat sliding rails.
It's rather easy to remove the rivets holding the OCS gear in place. The rivets are aluminum and can be easily drilled out with a 3/16" bit from the head side, drill slowly until the head is free and the rivet can be pushed through. Install new rivets with a pop rivet tool in the same orientation the old rivets were installed.
