I went out tonight looking for 7.90's but ran an 8.141 @ 83.37, and then an 8.179 @ 83.07.
Then a bike laid oil down the track. asshole.....
My friend got a great video of my second run, burnout and everything. Once I get it i'll post it.

i think i'll hit the 1/4 mile tomorrow night. i like that better.

The video is really cool, when i watched it on the camera, there was a 5-7 second whiteout where you couldn't see ANYTHING because of all the smoke :) :)

but yeah tomorrow's my birthday and i want to go to the 1/4 so I will! :)

Major changes since my last try for a new best are the c&l racer intake, LRP power steering delete belt (track only), and billet LCA's.
I still have to get the relocation brackets welded on, but that is really going to have to wait until i find a job.

edit: AND the MSD launch master :)

What about the MSD LM???

It was only used on the first run, and that run was bad altogether. I was so rusty, it was like i forgot how to do a burnout. When I got to the line, it was like I forgot my whole game plan. Still used the lm, but i was so concerned about whether or not the rear tires were going to stick that I forgot to sidestep the brake when the light was already green, pulled my foot straight back instead (slower). The tires spun a little off the line, but it was probably due to the rap burnout.

and the second one I just wanted to try stomping the gas. I'll use the lm from now on, just need more practice i guess.

also tomorrow i'll put in a radiator fan switch.

Also for the record, the car usually runs 8.0x's and did a 7.974 once
