I have the stock 17 x 8 rims and am looking into getting R compounds so i have steeda competition springs on the way so how big can i get the tires allaround (same size no stagger). Thank you guys for your feed back!

I have been using 245/45/17 Dunlop Star Spec tires. They look a little small under the car but grip and wear well. They are not R-compound tires but hold up well for the 30 minute sessions we run around here.

My friend has 275/40/17 Kumho V710s on a 17 x 8 wheel, it's tight though.

cone sweeper has these too, he seems to like them alot

You might be able to fit 255/40ZR17 or 245/40ZR17 BFG R1's or 255/45ZR17 or 245/45ZR17 Hoosier R6's on a 17x8.

The Hoosiers even say you can mount them on an 8" wide wheels in the specs.
