19" Wheels on Eibach Sportlines

Any one have a set up like that? I've got 18's with 255/45 on the front and 285/40 out back. Really wanting to go up to a 19" wheel to get some brakes with bite.

Just wondering if the Sportlines are gonna have to go. :/

Thoughts and feedback appreciated.

19" on Sportlines. I even cut 1/2 a rung off the front ones to drop it a bit more.

That's kind of what I'm wondering actually. I don't want to have to sacrifice a somewhat meaty tire because the gap is closing by at least another inch.

So use 255/40R19 and 285/35R19 on 19" wheels with the same width and offset as you have on the 18s ... overall dimensions will be the same.

Thanks Ed. The thought of just decreasing sidewall width by one came across my mind initially, but I'm no wheel expert. Thanks for the advise, sir.

I have 255/40/19 on the front and 285/35/19 on the back. I personally would like a tad bit more sidewall on the rear myself. Not much but a tad bit taller tire on the rear.

I know that people who do this thing called, "driving," will probably run into different environments than my garage. However, for hard parking stance, 19" on sportlines is the way to go bruh.

Though, when I do push the car to get to my beer fridge, I sometimes hear some tire rub in the wheel wells. I wonder what that might be.

I hear ya. Just looking at your sig pic, I could see how you'd want the rear tires to fill a tad more.

True, but from what I understand, and I could be wrong, you need 19's or larger to clear the track pack Brembos, right? I've had the opportunity to claim some pull offs because I was under the impression that you needed 19's to clear those.

VV The ones in my signature are the Apex 18x10's which have about the same dimensions as the Forgestar F14's mentioned. There are 18 wheel options that fit factory Brembo's just fine.

Well, hell....I could've sworn I read a thread here with multiple people claiming 19's or GTFO as far as decent brakes go.

Thanks for the reassurance. I still want SVE Drifts in 19's though.

That's true for the 6 piston Brembo's from the 13-14 GT500, but that's it. Not all 18's will fit, but there are those that will.

SVE Drifts in 18" will clear the 14" Brembos, I have a set of 18x10" square for track wheels that work great.
