Your rpms on the 2-step are set much lower than on the 5.0 car you linked to. Sounds like yours is set 1500-2000 rpms and the 5.0 one is 4000-5000. Here's a video of mine at the track with the 2-step set at 3500 rpms when my car was still a stick..

I have a n2mb wot box/2 step setup in the car but it doesn't sound like normal two steps. It sounds way slower like the one you can do with the sct tuner. I have it wired as per the instructions but maybe I have it wired wrong? Insight? Ideas?

What it should sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE6py9CpUfo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEGslEeTvwE&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Hear the difference? So what did I do wrong? Lol

Your car:

Other car:

I agree. Sounds like your launch RPM is set real low.

Even when it's set at about 4500 it still sounds like a big gap compared to every other car I hear. At first I thought it might have just been the sound with the prochamber but it's not.

Here's another you might be able to faintly hear it. Set at 4500

It just sounds way slower than any other 2 step I've ever heard. Sounds like a normal rev limiter but set down in rpm. I just can't put my finger on it lol

I'll try adjusting things with the blinks instead of trying to use the interface software and see if that makes a difference.

I'm betting it is going to have something to do with your throttle threshold. I'll take a video of mine one half throttle and one full throttle.

The lower the rpm is set the slower the intervals will be.
don't worry about the sound it's doing it's job.
This is mine at 4000...skip to 0:30

Fdjizm yours sounds way faster than mine. I'll try turning off and rechecking the tps threshold and try it again. But either way the 2 step is still doing its job.

Think I may have figured it out. Went through the troubleshooting per n2mb's website. When I hold down the accel pedal and click read it says not able to support function, not latest firmware installed or something of that nature. I installed the latest firmware (I think) but at times it comes up with version of WOT box firmware does not match the version the interface was desogned for. Wot box firmware version = -48 .......What does this all mean? It will still load everything into the box but this message and another that says please enter a valid number comes up too. I'm confused here. Wtf is all this. I have pics of the boxes aswell if anyone wants to see them.

This one popped up also. Even when the little firmware box on the side says 3.2. Which would be the latest update. Maybe uninstalling then reinstall the software?

Are you selection which box you have (single feature or dual feature)?
They sell two different boxes one that has 2 step and another that has 2 step and no-lift shift. You have to select the correct one because the firmware is different for the two.

Can you take a few screen shots of the software running(car off) one with just the software reading, another with the clutch down all the way and then one with the accelerator all the way down?

It is the dual feature.

Yes but are you sure you clicked dual feature when you updated the firmware?
I got the video to work this is mine has 5k. You can hear the 2step slow as I let off the throttle.

Here it is at 3500. I had a different exhaust in this video so it sound different but you get the idea.

I didn't even know it slowed when you take your foot off the throttle a bit lol, I'm always full throttle or nothing when I use the two step.
