Having a hard time diagnosing the root of the issue. Initially my alternator was going out, and I know I took too long to change it. Put in an aftermarket alternator a few weeks ago and it started sputtering a few days later then stopped working. My mechanic said it was the fuel pump, had him replace it and still wouldn’t start. He then noticed my crankshaft sensor was damaged, replaced that and still nothing. He thought the fuel pump was faulty as it read no fuel pressure, but when he came back to put in another one, it was now showing fuel pressure and spark, but still won’t start. Tried the internal switch and PATS anti theft reset but still nothing. He can’t figure out the issue and said it might be the computer but I’m not sure how to go about it. He also said the connectors to the ECM looked damaged.

Classic case of throwing multiple parts at the car to see if it solves the issue but i think it really needs an in depth diagnostic session starting with the voltage. Did he manage to pull any fault codes from the vehicle? Some other guys in the forum here with a lot more experience of the Mustang than me might know exactly what the issue is.

This!!!! Always scan the vehicle. Not all codes stored will turn a Check Engine Light on. Pull codes and post them so we can possibly give you some assistance.

My battery ended up dying now so the mechanic was unable to pull the old codes at this time. Waiting to charge it now and will follow up because Walmart said the battery was still in good health but just dead. I didn’t write down the exact codes before he initially determined it was the fuel pump, but the descriptions were: Fuel Rail Pressure High, Cylinder Misfire in 2, 3, 5 & 6, EGRc sensor and signal bias stick. Last year I replaced the fuel injectors, and if I’m not mistaken the EGRc sensor but it could’ve been the FRO sensor.
