Well I got my tune today.

Car wont idle. It feels like it miss fires and idles rough, then stalls out. My wideband is pegged at 22.5 and when you just tap the gass the rpm's shoot up to 3,000 and hang there for a little while. then it comes down slow and idles rough and stalls.

I checked all my vacuum lines and went over all my injecotrs and coil packs are all plugged in. Spark plugs are one step colder and gapped to .032.

Ugh this is really frustrating.

let them know. I am sure they can modify it. All my guy needed to know was injector size and what MAF I was using.

He loaded my SCT with 3 start ups; one normal, one at +20% and one at -20%. First one worked great, dove it 20 miles to the dyno without getting into boost

Do they know that yours is a 2010 and has a different intercooler than a 2005-2009? The maf location is in the intercooler tank and it might have a different maf xfer to start with than the prior models. I don't know if that's the case though, just throwing out the obvious.

Is there any reason you aren't using Justin?

Yes thats probably the reason why it took them so long to get the tune to me. They kept saying that something was different with the 2010's and thats why it was taking a while. I also told them I was not using a Mafia and asked if that was alright and they said yes and that if on the dyno it looks like I need one they have them there.

Also I wanted to use Justin but he was the same price and plus I would have to drive about 4 hours to get to him. Power by the hour is about 50 minutes from me.

Alright well I threw the stock tune (from Ford) and the stock spark plugs back on just incase I foul them out. The car started right up and idled smooth. A/F was 14.8 and everything was perfect. Sooooo I guess shitty tune.

HELP!!!!

Alright got the second tune in and it idles fine but my A/F is reading at 17.5 at idle. That too me is way too lean. I need to drive this thing from Miami to Boynton Beach.
Thoughts??? Ideas?? IDK what to do and I'm scared of driving it up there like that.

Answered in your tech thread. What I didn't say was why not get a lito tune? It's only $250 and he will tune your car spot on but you have to datalog. You might even want to see if he will write a base tune to get you to your tuner for a reduced rate. His tunes work and I don't think there is a better tuner anywhere.

I have talked to him. The thing is I dont have anything to data log with. My PC is a deaktop =/

GHA this is so frustrating. I dont understand why they cant get this correct. Its just a stock engine with a H.O procharger kit 39# cobra injectors and a gt500 fuel pump.

I have a dyno session tomorrow with them at 10:30 and I dont know how I'm going to get there. I dont think its save to drive the car like that.

I'd postpone that dyno until the base tune gets worked out. I must be missing something because based on the info you gave a 20% increase in the maf xfer should get you in the ballpark and able to use closed loop.

There are about 37 parameters available on the sct x3 for datalogging, no computer needed. I'm pretty sure the more important ones are available like airflow, counts, and maf voltage. I know that short and long term fuel trims are available. All you have to do is plug the tuner into the car and select datalog, it will guide you the rest of the way.

Good luck.

As long as your not pulling boost put the stock tune in it and drive it. Done it before with no issues. Just dont pull any boost.

I'm driving about 60 miles. The A/F is showing 17.5-18 and when I tap the gas it climbs to 20+ that's alright? Man I'm so fucking stressed out!

My car idles at 14.5-15.5. If your tapping on the gas and the a/f is climbing it means your not getting the required fuel, my guess.

You said in an earlier post that air fuel was 14.8 on stock tune. Id see how it runs regular driving on stock tune as long as your not pulling boost it should be fine.
