When you look at our Edelbrock supercharger packages you will find there are many different power levels available. Many customers have different wants and needs so we thought why not explain the exact differences in our packages. Below we have listed from the 50 state legal kit to our 650 HP packages.
The Edelbrock 50 state kit and the Brenspeed 600E (600 HP) and 650E (650 HP) all include many of the same items. The good news is if you already have the standard 50 state kit you can upgrade to higher horsepower packages buy purchasing Brenspeed upgrade packages. All of the packages listed below include an SCT programmer that will contain either an Edelbrock 50 state legal calibration, or a Brenspeed 600E or 650E calibration. Already have an SCT tuner? No problem when buying our 600E or 650E as we give you a discount for having an SCT programmer and we e-mail the proper calibration to you.
All of the packages use the Edelbrock TVS 2.3L supercharger as its foundation. This same supercharger can be used for very mild lower horsepower conditions on stock engines or on high horsepower built engine applications. This is one of the main reasons it was so popular with our 3V 05-10 Mustang crowd. They would install it on the stock engine when they were looking to add say 150 HP over stock but then continue to use it on a built engine when they were looking for 300 HP over stock. The Edelbrock unit itself does fit under the factory strut tower brace which many customers enjoy. It also has a 100,000 mile service interval on the supercharger oil so it is virtually maintenance free.
As our packages increase in power more items begin to get added into the kit. Is you increase boost (more power) you will find our packages begin to add items like colder spark plugs, upgraded fuel pump, and improved induction.
We found a pretty cool video on Edelbrocks website of a supercharger being assembled. Although it is not a Ford supercharger housing the internals are the same and so is the process of the assembly. What better way to show you what is inside the supercharger than see one being assembled.

The Edelbrock 50 Stage Legal Supercharger kit 559 HP 503 TQ
This is the starter kit for the 5.0L Coyote Mustang. If you live in California or just want the lower horsepower kit in general this is the kit for you. It includes everything you need from the complete supercharger kit (including intercooler), fuel injectors, SCT programmer, and a high flow air filter for your factory Ford air intake system.

The Brenspeed 600E Stage 0 600 HP 530 TQ Edelbrock Supercharger Package
Our Stage 0 kit adds an additional 41 HP and 27 foot pounds of torque over the entry level kit. All of our Edelbrock staged packages that start with 0 mean we are not increasing the boost of the kit. Our stage 0 package includes colder spark plugs, an Edelbrock cold air intake, and our Brenspeed calibration. Because we are not restricted by being 50 state certified we can modify our calibration for most any modification you have performed to your Mustang as well. If you are a road racer, drag racer, or just cruise the streets we can create a calibration to meet your needs.

The Brenspeed 650E Stage 1 650 HP 547 TQ Edelbrock Supercharger Package
Our stage 1 kit builds off of the items found in our Stage 0. We add an additional 2 pounds of boost via the supercharger and include a fuel pump upgrade to satisfy the fuel need for 650 HP. Just like our Stage 0 package your calibration can be built around your current modifications and your driving style.
The Stage 1 package is a great package to put on a bone stock car and dip well into the 11 second zone in the quarter mile, or like in the video below dip into the 10's with a few extra mods and good track conditions.

Because we design these staged packages in house we can many times build a package that meets your needs. If you are looking for a 650 HP package that produces more torque than our standard Stage 1 package this can be accomplished with a bit more boost yet we can calibrate conservatively at higher rpms to keep your power at that manageable 650 HP level. If you are looking to exceed that 700 HP mark that is not a problem either as can build a package to meet your needs.

Remember all of these kits are upgradable. If you already have one you do not need to start over to get more power. We offer upgrade kits to each stage as you feel you are ready to increase the power
