Yea, the seats seem a little different on the outside from when I had my 2008 GT/CS. It may just be the covers though, so someone might want to chime in and verify. However, outward appearances tell me they are different.

the rears will not work due to the new headrests added for the rear setas 2010+. Front seats would work fine as they are pretty much the same 07-09 gt500 seats minus the cobra.

The fronts fit fine as long as you use the new foam as well. The frames are the same it's just the foam and covers that are different. We did it here at my work with an '06, and I've been looking at doing the same to my '05. Technically you could still use the old foam, but you'd need to add foam in a few areas. The new seats have quite a bit more support in the foam.

Do you have any idea how much the new foam + covers cost? My leather is starting to get a little beat up.

'10 covers in my '07. The fronts came with new foam for the backs. Rear's fit ok.

This was where I got them from, looks like they've jumped up in price a bit.

I know some other members on here have done the swap as well and i'm sure they'll post up their experiences.

I have the '11 leathers in my '05. Fronts fit fine, top rear section is a little loose and there's holes where the headrests go in the '11. Still way better than cloth IMO

Install is a pain though

Shelby garage clearance has 2011 and 2012 GT new take-offs for $150 (black leather). I considered it until I found another post showing the differences (mustang forums I think). Fronts should work fine, the back has issues as previously stated. Good luck to anyone brave enough to try! Not a bad price to give it a try!

Heads up on Shelby garage store..

I just recieved my 2012 seats last night and they DO NOT include the head rests. I called them and they said that the headrests are not part of the seat.. but their site says nothing about that.

Offered a full refund, including shipping, and will send me a return shipping label.. waiting to see what the other-half wants to do about it sense she was going to buy the MRT Adj head rests anyway.. just worried about the back seats now.

I was under the impression all along that they didn't come with the headrests. It's still a great deal.

Still a great price, but no where on their site did it say it doesn't include the head rests. Kind of shitty sense the only reason I bought them was to convert the cloth to leather.. can't do that without the head rests.

I plan on getting the MRT adj ones for the front, but does anyone know where I can get the rears?
