Just looking to see how some of y'all did your gauge install I'n the new 5.0's . Did some searching and didn't find much 5.0 specific . Going to tackle some tonight .
Got to choose a power source
Dim switch wire
And pick a ground ..... Easy one .

The other 2 are alittle more difficult . I assume dim is the same wire as in my 06 but maybe not .

As far as power i don't want to mess with the radio this time so need a alternative . Any feedback is appreciative . Installing a AEM wideband and cobalt boost gauge .

Depending on where you are mounting them check into the headlight switch. Should have everything you need. There might be some wiring diagrams floating around on the net somewhere.

Power source - ignition switch, black 7 pin plug, pin 1 (purple/green)
Dimmer- meter the wires you should be able to find one behind the dimmer switch
Ground- yup easy

Not 100% sure but i think the headlight switch is - polarity and won't supply you +12.

Ford started going to negative trigger wires to activate relays for your power sources- alot cleaner and more efficient way of doing electronics.

Parking Lights (-)gray-headlight switch or SJB, black 52 pin plug (B), pin 31
The SJB (Smart Junction Box) is in the passenger kick. May need to interrupt the headlight switch ground wire when triggering this wire. It is black/purple at the headlight switch, gray 10 pin plug, pin 3. See Tech Doc 1096 for wiring information. Parking Lights (+)purple/white+SJB, gray 13 pin plug (E), pin 6
